The aim was to incorporate the brand philosophy into the shape of the products and to integrate innovative, low-complexity approaches. The challenge was to eliminate critical areas and create a more valuable product with the same cost factor. In the new version of the Parallettes, welding was rationalised by using a bending mould and added value was created by making the height adjustable. The interplay of wood and metal in form and function was particularly important to the customer.
