MOOVOR
As a practical transportation aid for older people, the rollator plays an important role in our society both now and in the future. With its functions that go beyond support when walking, the product offers added value in the everyday lives of many people. However, it also has weak points, such as overcoming obstacles in urban areas or maintaining the correct posture when moving. The Moovor concept addresses both the ergonomics of the handles and the mobility of the product. In all design decisions, attention was always paid to cost efficiency without losing touch to the user.

The direct competitor product for the development of the Moovor was the rollator model, which is fully covered by health insurance. In order to create a better alternative with the same cost factor, I was able to win over the local retirement home and medical supply store as partners. The advantage was being able to quickly generate and checkinformation as well asideas through direct contact. This enabled me to develop a product that directly addresses the needs of potential users. The fundamental requirements were to develop a visually appealing product with maximum mobility and a low cost factor.
