CLOUDLESS
The interplay of the fan unit, Peltier element and cooling fins forms the core of the magic. The fan runs continuously, generating an air flow through the lamp. Due to the hot - cold difference of the Peltier element, that expands through the cooling fins, the water begins to condense in the lamp and then drips into the tank, which is designed on the principle of a Pythagorean cup. That means
it collects water until the fill level is exceeded and rains down completely afterwards. This process is purely mechanical due to the negative pressure and the surface tension on the side walls.

The lamp stands out thanks to its CNC-milled aluminium surface, not only because of its monochrome colouring. The structure inside impresses with its complex, technical aesthetics, where the shape is determined by its function. In order to condense water, the concept requires an expansion of its surface in the form of cooling fins. Thanks to the choice of material and the manufacturing technique, the lamp is designed as a huge cooling fin.
